Our kittens will have their first set of vaccines, be dewormed and spayed or neutered befoe going to their new homes.  Most kittens are ready to go to their new homes at 12 weeks old.  You will need to take the kitten to your vet when it is  16 weeks old to complete the vaccination series.

Your kitten does not need to be vaccinated against rabies unless you are traveling with him.

Do NOT under any circumstances vaccinate for FIP.

Colors and Patterns

I have kittens in 4 colors and all Ragdolls come in 3 patterns (plus any pattern may also be lynx).

Our kittens are Seal, Blue, Chocolate or Lilac.  I do not have reds or creams but if you are interested, I can refer you to a reputable breeder who does work with those colors.  Solids and mink are NOT recognised colors/patterns in TICA or CFA.  Don't be fooled by people calling them "rare".  They are rare because no reputable breeder wants them or sells them.  They have been outcrossed with non-ragdolls to get those colors/patterns and are actually just the same as any cat you might get at a rescue.  If you love this look, let me know as I work with a number of local rescues.

Ragdoll patterns are color point (color on face, ears, tail and feet), mitted (color on face, ears, tail but feet are white), and bicolor (white upside down triangle on face, pink nose, color on ears, tail and feet).  If f you add lynx to any of the patterns that means the cats has some stripes on the face, often somewhat of a "m" pattern and often some stripes on the tail or even legs.

Jellybean at 10 weeks old.   She is a mighty hunter and we are safe from all wild catnip toys!  Jellybean lives with Luis' family now and she is enjoying all the love she get from the girls.

Your kitten may not be declawed.  There are no exceptions.  Declawing is very painful for the cat and often changes their loving personalities.  Ragdolls are smart and they are taught to use a scratching post before they leave our home. 

Thing you may want to purchase before you take home your kitten.

• scratching post - a must have
• litter and litter box - we recommend one box per cat in the household
• food - talk to us about what we recommend for your kitten
• cat trees - we know a local person who builds custom cat trees if you are interested
• a cat bed - our cats get big so no little beds for them - or you can let them sleep with you
• a brush or comb - please brush twice a week, they love to be brushed
• nail clippers - a little clip once every other week keeps their nails in good shape
